SCASA Long Course Championships 2001

Thank you, Margaret and Tony Bell

Margaret and Tony Bell have been running the Southern Counties ASA Championships for the last 5 years, handling everything from entries handling to results processing, from pool booking to medals and trophies. Their tenure has seen tremendous changes, including the successful introduction of the BAGCAT points system.

This was their last championships in that role. As an expression of thanks from SCASA, the President, Janet Holdstock, presented Margaret and Tony with a bouquet of flowers.

They are going to be a tough act to follow and in fact the task of running the championships has been split across a number of people for the future.
