SCASA Short Course Masters and 19/24 Age Group Competition 2004

Conditions of Entry
Under ASA Laws and Technical Rules

  1. Eligibility
    Open to swimmers who are members of organisations affiliated to FINA, and who will be 19 years of age and over on 31st December 2003.
    UK Swimmers must be registered with their National Organisation for the club represented, to compete. Registrations will be checked.
  2. Events
    • Individual Events:
      50m, 100m, 200m Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, Freestyle
      100m, 200m Individual Medley
      400m Freestyle
    • Relay Events:
      4x50m Single Sex and Mixed (2 Women and 2 Men) Freestyle and Medley Teams.
      Masters Only (25 and over) in Relay Teams.
  3. Age Groups
    A - 25/29
    B - 30/34
    C - 35/39
    D - 40/44
    E - 45/49
    F - 50/54
    G - 55/59
    H - 60/64
    J - 65/69
    K - 70/74
    L - 75/79
    M - 80/84
    N - 85+ and over
    X - 19/24.
    Relays 100+ years, 120+ years, 160+ years, 200+ years, and 240+ years
  4. Ages
    Ages as at 31st December 2003 for Individual and Team Events. The Names and Dates of Birth of Relay Team Members must be written on the back of team cards.
  5. Representation
    A competitor may compete for only one club in the competition.
  6. Seeding
    Events will be seeded in time classification of entry time, irrespective of age, from slowest to fastest. Swimmers with the slowest entry time will swim first. Entries will be rejected where an entry time is not submitted on the entry form.
  7. H.D.W.
    Events will be decided on heat times, no finals being swum.
  8. Awards
    Medals will be awarded to Individuals and Teams placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each age group
  9. Entry Fees
    Individual Events £4.00 (Four Pounds Sterling)
    Team Events £6.00 (Six Pounds Sterling)
    Late Entries for relays £7.00 (Seven Pounds Sterling)
  10. Closing Date
    Entries close Saturday 28th August 2004.
    SCASA reserve the right to close the entries earlier if necessary.
  11. Entries
    On Official Form (photocopies will be accepted), accompanied by the appropriate fee(s).
    Cheques payable to SCASA
    A large stamped addressed envelope 160X225mm (9X6in) should be sent for the return of cards.
  12. Relay Entries
    Late Entries will be accepted for Session One before the start of Event 2, and for Sessions Two and Three before the start of Event 17 at £7.00 per Team
  13. Re-Entry
    The card system will operate. Cards must be posted in the re-entry box at the venue.
    Please Note the Following Card Posting Times, chosen to allow cards to be posted as late as possible without delaying the Meet.
    Session 1: Post Cards by 8:30am for Event 1
    Session 1: Post Cards by 10:00am for Events 2 to 13
    Session 2: Post Cards by 12:30pm for Events 14 to 31
    Session 3: Post Cards by 4:00pm for Events 32 to 54
