Spectator Tickets

There is limited accomodation for spectators at Winchester Leisure Centre. To avoid overcrowding and infinging the maximum number of people permitted in the gallery, spectators must buy a ticket online, in advance.

Tickets for the third weekend go on sale at 9am GMT on Wednesday 15th February. There is a limit of ONE ticket (plus 1 child) per person per session.

Tickets are priced at £4 per session for adults. Children 11 and under are free, but must have a ticket.

To buy tickets go to

Tickets will remain on sale until the limit on the number of seats available has been reached, or 1 hour after the start of the session. Anyone who buys tickets after midday on Friday prior to the weekend of competition, must ensure that they have proof of purchase available (such as an e-ticket on their smartphone).

We share your frustration if you are unable to order the tickets you want, but there is no other suitable long course pool in the County with more spectator accomodation. But, we are still short of people in the live video streaming team (see below). One way of seeing your child swim is to volunteer to help.

Withdrawals

Club representatives are expected to withdraw swimmers who are not intending to swim no later than the start of warm-up for the session in which the event is scheduled.

To withdraw from any individual event, use the online form to be found at this link. This includes withdrawals on the day of competition.

Any team relay withdrawals must be done via the cliub entry coordinators who will be sent a separate form directly to them.

Please note that there is no refund of entry fees unless the withdrawal is for medical reasons.

Poolside Passes

Access to poolside is restricted to swimmers competing in the session and coaches, team managers and chaperones in possession of poolside passes, accredited officials and volunteers. With the exception of swimmers, everyone on poolside must wear a visible poolside pass, which will be available for purchase by coaches and team managers in advance of the competition. Volunteers’, officials’ and chaperones’ poolside passes are complimentary.

Download and complete the application form. Completed forms should be uploaded using this link:

The fees for poolside passes are unchanged from 2022.

  • Whole competition - £25
  • Single weekend of competition - £10

Fees for poolside passes will be invoiced together with entry fees for accepted swimmers.

There is no charge for chaperones for disabled swimmers: Please enter requests for chaperones passes on the same form as for other poolside passes. Write "chaperone for xxxxx" on the form.

Live Video Streaming

We intend to live stream every session of the County Championships this year and we still need additional people to join the team that delivers this.

The major tasks involved are

  • Camera operator (we have one camera that tracks swimmers up and down the pool)
  • Vision mixing (we have a 4 channel, simple to operate mixer)
  • YouTube connection

If you are willing to join the team for one or more sessions, please contact us via the Non-technical volunteers link in the box on the right of the screen (or at the bottom on a device such as a smartphone with limited screen size).

Team Declaration Forms

Team declarations and any changes to team declarations must currently be made through the entry portal and confirmed by submission of a completed team declaration form.

After the meet has been imported into the HyTek Meet Management system, all changes to team declarations will need to be made using the team declaration form.

Completed and amended team declaration forms should be submitted using the link in the right column of this page.
