Basingstoke Bluefins HOSTED a level 3 licensed meet at The Aquadrome, Basingstoke on 17th/18th December 2016.

The upper limit times for this event are the 2017 Hampshire County Championships automatic qualifying times for the same swimmers.

THIS COMPETITION WILL RUN WITHOUT SPECTATORS. 

All entries have been accepted except

  1. Swims with entry times faster than the published upper limit time. We may be able to accept requests for time trials on the day, but only from swimmers who have been accepted for other individual events.
     
  2. Individual entries. The conditions for this competition state that club entries only will be accepted. The reason for this is that this competition will be run without spectators and we are unable to accept responsibility for individual swimmers without a club coach or team manager.
 

Video Streaming

We will do our best to provide this service, but it is dependent on having an acceptable internet connection.

Videos will not be available after the event.

The detailed programme for this competition is now available for download and self-printing. (There will be no printed programmes available for this competition.)

All officials and coaches/team managers in possession of a poolside pass will receive printed start lists for each session.

 

Confirmed Session Times

Please note that the start of warm-up for session 1 has been brought forward by 15 minutes to allow an extended warm-up because of the number of swimmers accepted.

Saturday 17th December  One 12:45 13:45   Swimmers will not be permitted poolside until 12:30. Swimmers will not be able to enter the building until approximately 15 minutes before this time, and will need to be suitably attired to wait outside if they arrive early.
  Two 16:45  17:45 20:20 Session 2 warm-up will follow immediately after session 1.  We expect this to be around 16:45.  Should session 1 finish earlier than expected we will bring warm-up for session 2 forward accordingly.  We will not start Session 2 warm-up before 16:30.
Sunday 18th December Three 09:15 10:15   Swimmers will not be permitted poolside until 09:00. Swimmers will not be able to enter the building until approximately 15 minutes before this time, and will need to be suitably attired to wait outside if they arrive early.

Important Information

 

We will only accept club entries for this competition. A single club representative must confirm all entries and submit a single payment covering entries.

Because of the lack of space on poolside, we will give priority to swimmers over spectators. If necessary, this event will be designated a NO SPECTATOR event.
