Basingstoke Bluefins is holding a different kind of competition on Sunday 7th September 2014 to initiate the new season - The Basingstoke Bluefins Medley Challenge.

All swimmers must swim 50m of all 4 strokes, in Individual Medley order. Initial seeding will be based on the submitted 50m butterfly time. Subsequent events will be seeded based on cumulative time to date
             
Awards are based on cumulative time on all 4 strokes.
       
Swimmers who have achieved the 2014 South East Region qualifying time for 200m Ind Medley may not enter.
       
There will be two sessions.

Since the number of entrants exceeds 140:

- Ages 10/Under, 12 and 14 will compete in the first session (events 1xx)
- Ages 11, 13 and 15/Over will compete in the second session (events 2xx)
